St. Eugene English Medium School, Mudhipar’s motive has been instrumental in creating this joy of self-discovery and newness in the hearts of staff and students through all her endevours. In all our new initiatives and adventures, we need to be humbly reminded that our goal is nothing other than excellence and psycho-spiritual formation of our students. I believe education is also a process of learning that subtracts and adds something more substantial to the life of the pupil. Education today is no more a rote learning. Rather, it is a channel of ‘Experience’ in which a student not only learns but also thinks and acts. Education is that unquenchable spirit of self-discovery which ultimately leads one to be critical, creative and constructive.

St. Eugene English Medium School (CBSE) at Mudhipar aims at responding to these challenges, thus helping the poor and economically backward students. We encourage each student to bring out their talents in sports, games, art and drawing and holistically shine in every academic curriculum. We encourage our students to compete but at the same time to be human, kind and patriotic. We teach them to be honest, truthful and respectful to the elders. ….. We give importance the education of girl child giving utmost importance to all kinds of safety measures to protect them. This is our motive. We begin to ask many questions and the spirit of curiosity arises in us. While shaping our character we accumulate sufficient knowledge, wisdom and experience to become a fully developed human beings. Moreover, we discover our true self progressively. The atmosphere and ambience of St. Eugene English Medium School at Mudhipar brings out great potentials, builds better habits, provides new skills, shapes personality and above all instills discipline and team work in the pupils.The Iconic Leader and Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu (Arignar Anna) C.N. Annadurai was a voracious reader. As he battled cancer, his passion for books remained so intense that he requested his surgical teams to postpone his operation by a day just so he could finish reading it first Marie Corelli's Novel (The Master Christian). This historical anecdote gives us an important lesson that when facing, a critical, life-saving surgery or even at the point of death we have an opportunity to learn, become focused and maintain concentration to accomplish our goals in life.In a fast-moving world distractions like mobile phones, social media can reduce the pupils focus in learning. The pupils need to be calm, stay focused, disciplined, active, creative and productive. This can be attained only through quality education. Thus, education is an important method to learn, flourish, thrive, build a bright future fostering personal and integral growth of every human being. In addition to, education turns our efforts into achievements continuously and helps us to reach our goals effectively. The growth is a life long journey. Furthermore, keep learning, stay curious and always believe that your potential to grow is absolutely limitless.
